We understand that protecting your customers’ credit is a top priority. That’s why it’s important to know that for FICO-based models, credit bureaus allow for a 45-day window where multiple inquiries for the same type of loan are typically treated as a single inquiry and will have little impact on your customers’ credit scores.
Ally Clearpass ”shotguns” apps to all lenders.
This couldn’t be further from the truth! On average, Ally Clearpass only submits an application to 2.5 lenders after initial filters are applied. For customers with a FICO score above 700, that number drops to just 1.9 lenders. Plus, you’re in complete control. Use our lender adjustment form to select up to seven lenders from our available options. You’re in control of where your customers’ applications are going.

We’ve designed Ally Clearpass to be as efficient as possible. Most lenders on the platform have FICO and AMF (Amount Financed) caps in place. This means that applications are only sent to lenders who are likely to offer a competitive program for that specific customer. You won’t have to worry about sorting through a pile of offers.
Ally Clearpass opt-outs are primarily for the super prime credit segment.
While it’s true that some dealers opt-out on super prime applications, we’re seeing opt-outs across all FICO segments. This means that dealers are missing out on opportunities to get deals done for customers with a wide range of credit profiles.
